Generally pursuing M.Tech from VJTI Mumbai is considered worthwhile due to its facilities. The college offers a full-time M.Tech course for two years. The basic eligibility is 50% marks in BTech. The college provides placement opportunities to its M.Tech students. Moreover, students also get a stipend while pursuing the course.

The VJTI Mumbai M.Tech is a full time course. The M.Tech programme curriculum  is split into four semesters with the total time span of two years. The syllabii of the M.Tech course includes some core and some elective subjects.

Yes, the Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute Mumbai follows the refund policy of the University Grants Commission (UGC). As per UGC guidelines, the fees are 100% refundable if the admission is cancelled 15 days prior to the last admission date. If the admission is cancelled after 30 days of the admission deadline, the university does no return the fee.

The VJTI Mumbai follows reservation policy as per the Maharashtra Government. The university has 50% seats reserved for categories likewise SC and ST. and remaining 50% seats are filled through general merit.

Those who are applying for the M.Tech programme at VJTI Mumbai should know that some documents need to be uploaded while form filling . The documents are listed below:

  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Date of Birth proof
  • Address proof
  • Caste category certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile certificate

The admission to the M.Tech programme at VJTI Mumbai is solely based on entrance scores. Students have to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria of the course prior applying. The admission to the course is closed now . Students should obtain valid marks in the accepted entrance test to get the course.

Yes, the VJTI Mumbai offers M.Tech programme in full-time mode. Admission to the course is based on entrance exam marks. The course duration is two years which is divided into four semesters. Those who have passed Bachelors degree in engineering with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply.

Yes, you could get into IIT Bombay for the MSc courses with a rank of 500 if you belong to the General AI category. According to the IIT Bombay cutoff 2026 for round 1, General AI category students can opt for 2 courses. To know which refer to the table below.

IIT Bombay cutoff 2026 was published for admission to the MSc and Integrated MSc courses for round 1. The cutoff was published for various All India categories in the form of ranks. 

For the General AI category, the first round cutoff ranged from 15 to 710. To know the round 1 cutoff for all other categories, students can refer to the table below.
