No you cannot get direct admission to Government College of Engineering, Amravati

admission is based on the entrance exams 

MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test)

JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination - Main)

must have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subject with a minimum of 45% marks

Yes, you get admission to the Government College of Engineering, Amravati B.E. / B.Tech course without MHT CET 

Admission is based on the scores in the  MHT CET or JEE Main entrance examinations. 

if your score is good in the JEE Main the you can apply for admission to the Government College of Engineering, Amravati B.E. / B.Tech course
