The eligibility criteria of 5-years BA, LLB course is 10+2 with minimum 45% of marks which is recognized by the syndicate as equivalent to HSE of Govt. of TamilNadu. 5% of marks relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates.

Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Salai, Chennai 600 028. Application forms can also be obtained in person from the respective Principals and Saraswathy Law College (Private) at Tindivnam of the affiliated Government Law Colleges.
MODE OF SELECTION:
(i) Candidates applying for admission to the above mentioned Government Law Colleges will be ranked according to the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examinations and on the basis of communal and special reservations.
(ii) Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the +2 examinations or its equivalent, in aggregate of all the subjects excluding languages. The marks obtained by the student in the 10+2 examinations in the first attempt alone will be taken into account for ranking purpose and the marks obtained by the candidate by way of improvement examinations shall not be taken into account. Whenever you are considering any college for pursuing PGDM or MBA just the placement figures cannot be the only factor to be considered. You should try to collect information about the following:
A) the brand value of the institute in the market
B) exposure which you are getting in the institute due to its location due to its record of consistent academic quality
C) brands coming for the placement
D) lastly the placement figures with respect to different specializations like marketing, Finance, HR etc. So, firstly, brand-wise Welingkar Mumbai is a very strong brand as compared to BIMTECH Greater Noida. Welingkar is a very old and strong brand since early 1990 whereas BIMTECH Greater Noida became a brand when it is started performing good after the global recession of 2009. Secondly, you get a very good exposure when you are studying in the financial capital of India Mumbai but this Mumbai never limits placement performance of Welingkar with respect to marketing specialization. They do provide very good placement around 8 Lacs rupees per annum CTC. Thirdly, even if you consider the ranking Welingkar Mumbai is amount top 30 institutes of India whereas BIMTECH is among the top 45. Thus we can conclude that BIMTECH is a very good management institute for marketing placement but Welingkar Mumbai is better. Good luck.
