Somanath SahooASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN JOURNALISM AND MASS COMM

Contributor-Level 9

Hi Pragnesh ji.
My suggestion is to allow your daughter first to complete 10+2 Exam successfully. Then, she will enroll herself in Bachelor Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication courses in any reputed institutions and universities. For PG Diploma, she has to complete her Graduation first. I suggest for a regular Master Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication in the place of PG Diploma for her vast career options.

Hi Shreya,
It is difficult, but it is possible, because if you have taken admission once, then you have to change the course. Then, you have to approach the college cell and there would be some amount taken by college authority and then they can change it.

We respect students who have appeared for CAT, CET. However, you can come down to the campus and understand the program, and then appear for the PI with the dean of the college.

Hello,
Generally, everyone gets a call at 80+ percentile in any exam from Welingkar. But, it's mainly the performance in the interview rounds which would decide your chances of selection. And, 90 percentile is a good score; you can surely expect a call. Good luck.

See depends on the cutoff marks which will be released by the St. Xavier College for new admissions. Sorry to say their cutoffs are very high every year. It crosses 95% and above sometimes but keep an eye on the college website and wait for the second and third cutoff list.
Best of luck.

Hi Payal,
You can apply for admission in Chetana's Institute of Management & Research. However, your selection will be based on your performance in the GD-PI process, your academic scores till date, participation in extra-curricular activities and work experience, if any.
You can fill the admission form at:
