If students attempt both MET exam sessions, then best score out of two will be considered for admission. Students are eligible to attempt one or both sessions of examination. If needed, a third session may also be conducted.

As per MET eligibility criteria, students should have atleast 50 percent marks in 12th class examination. Students should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one optional subject. For admission, 50% weightage will be given to 12th marks.

The authorities do not consider any other exam score for MET admissions. All students will have to attempt and qualify the MET exam to be eligible for admission into the participating campuses. However, the basic 12^th standard qualifying exam mark eligibility has to be met.
