According to ICT Mumbai Engineering NIRF report 2022, a rise of 13% was witnessed in the M.Tech placement rate in 2021 as compared with 2020. The placement rate recorded during ICT Mumbai M.Tech placements 2021 was 63%. Earlier, the placement rate recorded during ICT Mumbai M.Tech placements 2020 and 2019 was 50% and 56%, respectively.

Yes, ICT Mumbai offers hostel facilities to its students. Hostels are equipped with mess, television room, reading room, playground, health centre, gymkhana, library and study room facilities. Senior MBBS doctors are available in the health centre of the hostel on all working days at designated times free of cost.

ICT Mumbai has well-educated faculty. Most of the faculty members of Institute of Chemical Technology are PhD holders. Not just this but the institute also invites faculty for guest lectures and also extend the opportunity to students to interact with some of the best personalities.

Talking about the SBM Mumbai minimum eligibility requirement for MBA admission, candidates must have passed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised board.

There is no such provision for direct admission to the PhD programme at SJMSOM. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD in management programme should fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  • BE/ BTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for reserved categories) and at least two years of work experience.
  • Master of Management /ME / M.Tech / MPharm/ MPhil/2 years MBA or 2 year PG Diploma in Management from any institute recognised by a Government body (AICTE / UGC/AIU) with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for reserved categories)

The Management school offers part-time PhD courses for executives/working professionals. However, to do coursework, they need to take one year's leave from their respective organisations.

After the conclusion of the application procedure, candidates are shortlisted based on scores in GATE/ UGC-NET (Lectureship)/ UGC-JRF/ CSIR-NET/ CAT/ GMAT/ GRE. Based on the cutoff marks, candidates with a score equal to or higher than the cutoff are selected. The eligible candidates without a valid score have to appear for an entrance test (which is an Aptitude Test covering four sections – English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical Reasoning and Data Interpretation). Shortlisted students further have to appear for an interview.

Candidates enrolled in a PhD programme have to complete a one-year coursework. Following this, candidates in the full-time course have to complete it in 3-4 years. Other candidates can take a little longer to complete the course.
