This grant is provided to outstanding students enrolled in a second-year MFA (Cinema) programme by AAFT in partnership with ULCA.

For applicants from outside the area, there are hostels nearby. Within 8 kms of the AAFT campus, a separate residential facility for boys and girls is accessible. Hostel accommodations are not provided to candidates from Delhi and the NCR due to low occupancy. The Hostel accepts guests on a first-come, first-served basis. A student may make a six-month advance application for a hostel bed during registration. Upon admittance, a monthly charge of 13,000 won must be paid for the hostel.
