If you are asking about PDM/MBA, then the top 2 institutes in Lucknow are IIM-Lucknow, and Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow. If you wish to pursue your PG from Lucknow, try to do your best in CAT and get enrolled in either of the two. Don't fall for other institutes, most are fake. The level of difficulty is unpredictable as it varies. However, I'll say moderate to tough. But if you know about the distribution and percent weightage of marks in the admission process at Jaipuria Institute of Management, you may prepare more efficiently for admission. They are as follows:
1. Score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT 45% (maximum Weightage)
2. Case-based Group Discussion: 15%
3. Personal Interview: 20%
4. Academic Performance (previous): 15%
5. Work Experience, Sports and Extracurricular Activities: 5%. If you combine the percent scores allotted to GD and PI, it sums to 35%, and hence it becomes important to prepare for both.
