There is no such provision for direct admission to any of the courses offered at MIT Institute of Design (MITID). Candidates interested in taking admission at MITID must take the institute’s entrance exam, i.e. Design Aptitude Test (DAT) on the basis of which candidates will be selected for the Studio test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. On successful qualifying in both these rounds, candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at MITID for document verification and tuition fee payment for final seat allotment.

Yes, MIT Institute of Design (MITID) offers UG, PG, and PG Diploma courses in the field of design. At the UG level, the institute offers a three-year full-time Bachelor of Design (BDes) which is the flagship course of MITID. The BDes programme is offered across twelve specialisations.
