Tolani Maritime Institute has an online admission process. Every year, the institute releases an application form for students to register for the courses of their choice. As per the selection criteria, the selection to TMI is based on the IMUCET entrance exam. After qualifying for the exam, students need to visit the official website of college and fill out the registration form, upload scanned documents, and pay an application amount to apply for the respective course. The degree programmes at Tolani Maritime have been awarded by the DNV-GL as Grade A1 (Outstanding) in the Comprehensive Inspection Programme of DG Shipping and is ISO certified. TMI is a member of the Global Maritime Education and Training Association. The cuttoff for ST is 25 for SC is 27 and for PWD is 35 this is also based on no. Of student appearing so it changed depending each year.
