Government Polytechnic, Pune, is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education. The eligibility criteria for the Diploma in Computer Engineering is that candidates must have passed the 10th or SSC examination or equivalent with at least 35% aggregate marks.

College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. It offers a B.Tech. in Computer Engineering at the undergraduate level.
To be eligible, the candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. They must also have obtained the 45% aggregate.
According to college rules, Maharashtra state candidates must appear for the MHT CET, whereas other state candidates need to appear for either the MHT CET or JEE Mains entrance exam.
