There are two ways for getting B.Tech admission in COEP Pune. The first one is MHT CET and JEE Main is another one. The major admission in B.E. Courses in COEP are based on MHT CET conducted by State common entrance cell Maharashtra. As per the eligibility criteria, candidate has passed 12th with PCM with minimum 50% of marks if subjects taken together for general category. Yes home state qouta can be an additional deciding factor for your admission at IIIT Bhubaneswar, but your admission criteria will be more dependent on your JEE marks. If your parents have a green card then it will help too for your admission.

Hello Shivam, I must say that you have indeed obtained very good marks in your diploma in mechanical engineering. I feel that with this percentage and with your category you should get your desired branch in desired college by way of a lateral admission directly into the second year of engineering. You indeed have very bright chances.
Best wishes to you.
