There are no government colleges offering interior design course. However, there are couple of private universities/colleges who are offering certification and Diploma courses of interior design. One of them is D Y Patil International University (DYPIU) which offers certificate course in Interior Designing. This course includes holistic design, drafting, building codes and regulations, office design, design research, spatial design, lighting design, sketching for design, theory, materials use, concepts, and design process. This course focuses on studio work, design theory, and processes.

NIT, Trichy is the top NIT when compared to others. So, I suggest you to go with NIT Trichy and even with 1507 rank you can get admission in NIT Trichy if you belong to Tamil Nadu. If you don't get admission in NIT Trichy for CS.
