The college is comparatively much smaller an entity as compared to Manipal University's bigger alternatives MIT (engineering) and KMC (medical) colleges. But if you're looking for a Bachelors and have the will to do a dual degree, this college is apt. Let me make it clear that it's not compulsory to do the CIMA degree, however it's always better to complete it when you are in college as it is a credential that many consider great on the resume and could also fetch you great jobs in the future. Once you complete your B.Com, you get multiple options to study ahead like, you can do CA, MBA, M.Com. For completion of CA, you need to give 3 examinations and for MBA, you are ought to appear for entrance examinations like CAT, CMAT, CET, XAT, etc. So, the decision is on you which field you want to opt for. But believe me all these courses and degrees are much in demand and give you wider career options.

COEP fills its seats via MHCET not via JEE Mains so for getting admission into that, you need to score more than 140 marks in MHCET. However, MIT-Pune fills its seats via both modes so if you are looking forward to taking admission via JEE Mains you need to score around 150 marks to get good branches.

For SCM specialization, it depends on how much hard work you do to get placed yourself in a very renowned company. You do get opportunities for many companies but again it depends on your area of interest. I will advise you to apply for colleges which have SCM as a flagship course.
