For admission to the BSc course, candidates must have secured minimum marks in Class 12 decided by the college. The college accepts the score of CBSE 12th,  ISC,  Tamilnadu 12th, and various other scores for admission to the BSc and other UG courses. The minimum ISC score required at Madras University Distance Education can be checked on the official website of the college.

To get admission to PGDM course at ASM IIBR, candidates must go through a multi-level selection process. At first, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. For admission to PGDM course at ASM IIBR, the selection is entirely based on the score obtained in one among CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT entrance exams. However, a valid score in any other common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective state governments is also accepted.
