Admission to SCMC Pune is by entrance. The SET entrance exam is approved here.
The Faculty of Media and Communication of Symbiosis International University (SIU) houses the Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC). The department offers a UG-level BA course. Programme admission will be determined by entry.
Based on the students who participated, the department recorded a placement percentage of 77.46% in 2020. In addition to placement chances, university-pursuing students are qualified for a number of need- and merit-based scholarships.

Applying candidates must have finished their 10+2 (or 10+3 Diploma, as accepted by the State Board of Technical Education) in any subject from any Board, Council, or University that has been accredited, and have at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) of their aggregate marks, or equivalent grades.
Candidates may also be waiting on their results from their 12th grade. Documentation proving they obtained at least 50% of the total—45% for SC/ST—or more must be given. Each year, 120 students are admitted to SCMC.

Candidates can get admission for B.A. with 60% in class 12th as the eligibility criteria states. Candidates who have finished their 10+2 (or 10+3 Diploma) in any discipline from any recognised Board, Council, or University and who have at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) of their aggregate marks or comparable grades are eligible to apply for admission. Applicants waiting on their 12th grade results can also apply . They have to show proof that they obtained at least 50% of the total (45% for SC/ST) or more. SCMC admits 120 students per year.

The fee structure for the M.Tech programme at Dr. D.Y. Patil School Of Engineering is approximately Rs 85,000 for first year. The fees may vary and it’s always a good idea to check the official website.
