For CSE, LPU is often preferred by many because of the number of companies visiting and the overall placement exposure it offers compared to SRM.

From what I've seen, LPU has a wide range of recruiters, so there are usually more chances during placements. SRM, especially the main campus, also has good placements.

Personally, it feels like both colleges provide opportunities, but LPU gives a bit more flexibility and chances because of the scale. At the same time, results in either place still depend a lot on skills and preparation.

LPU's animation programs integrate storytelling as a core foundation, starting with early semesters that cover storyboarding, concept art, and narrative principles alongside drawing and design basics.
Progression includes applying these skills in 3D character animation, motion graphics, and VFX projects using tools like Maya and After Effects.
This hands-on approach ensures practical narrative development throughout, preparing students for industry demands without hype.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) does not have a separate campus in Chennai. The fees are the same for all programs offered by LPU.

  • The MBA programme costs about INR 2.2 Lacs per year before scholarships.
  • Hostel and mess charges are extra and range from INR 80,000 to INR 1.4 Lacs per year, depending on the type of room and facilities.
  • LPU also offers flexible fee options and scholarships, such as LPUNEST, which can help lower the total cost.
