Yes, with 113 marks in JEE Main Paper 1, you have a good chance of getting admission in LPU for B.Tech programs. LPU accepts JEE Main scores along with LPUNEST for admission and scholarship consideration. The university offers multiple specializations in CSE, AI, Data Science, Mechanical, Civil, and other branches. If your 12th marks are also decent, the admission process becomes smoother.

One advantage at LPU is that students with JEE scores may also become eligible for scholarship benefits, although LPUNEST can provide additional scholarship opportunities. LPU is known for strong placements, modern labs, industry collaborations, codin

LPU is a big, pretty well connected private university in Jalandhar, it has this strong set of perks like modern campus infrastructure spread across over 600+ acres, advanced labs, plus smart classrooms, and then a central library with a lot of digital resources. Also the hostels are quite solid 24*7 Wi‑Fi, and security too. Academically they run lots of UG, PG and integrated programmes, mainly leaning into engineering, computer science, management, and biotechnology, with industry linked curricula internships and research opportunities. And when it comes to placements, it's mostly because many national and international companies co

BTEC kind of edges out BSC in IT at LPU , mostly because it leans more into engineering depth and that kind of fresh curriculum mixing AI, cybersecurity and cloud computing. There are hands-on labs involved and lots of industry projects, not just theory, and it feels more practical in a day to day sense. Both tracks still push practical know-how via internships and certifications from partners like Microsoft, so students are not left hanging when it comes to real-world job expectations.

Placement results are decent, and IT graduates often land roles at big names like Capgemini. On average the packages are around 4-5 LPA, while th

No, you cannot really study B.Ed in distance mode from LPU or at least not in the way you might expect. B.Ed at LPU is given only as a 2 year full time, on campus programme. This is because B.Ed is a professional teaching course which is monitored by NCTE, and it also needs regular classes, plus teaching practice and other practical components. Those parts are not permitted in pure distance education mode, so LPU keeps it only on campus.

Joining after completing the first year of BCA depends on the university policy and whether credit transfer or lateral entry options are available. In the case of LPU, direct entry after only one year of BCA may not apply in many situations because lateral entry is generally linked with specific eligibility criteria and equivalent qualifications. It is better to check the course requirements carefully before making a decision. The advantage of checking transfer options early is that academic continuity and future career planning become easier.

Among KIIT, LPU, and Galgotias for CSE, many students consider LPU a strong option because of its larger industry exposure, placement opportunities, and modern infrastructure. LPU has tie-ups with companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Infosys, which helps students with internships and placements. The university focuses heavily on coding culture, hackathons, live projects, industry certifications, and practical learning. Students also get access to advanced labs, innovation studios, and a diverse peer environment with learners from across India and abroad. Compared to many private universities, LPU is often

Yes, with an LPUNEST rank of 4444, there are reasonable chances of getting CSE at LPU, although the exact counseling round depends on seat availability and competition in that particular admission cycle. Generally, highly preferred branches like CSE fill faster in the initial rounds, so students with ranks around this range may get seats in later counseling rounds if seats remain available. Many students also get upgraded branches during subsequent rounds based on vacant seats and merit movement. LPU's CSE program is quite popular because of its strong placement record, coding culture, industry tie-ups, and internship opportunities. Co
