IIT, Ropar is the best engineering institute in the state of Punjab. NIT Jullander, PEC University-Chandigarh, and Thapar University are other equally good option for doing graduation degree in engineering.

In TIET, every year more than 90% of students get placed from my branch. This year 5 students got placed in Microsoft with CTC INR. 40 LPA. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology takes students on the basis of marks secured in JEE. Placement varies from branch to branch like computer Science has 100 percent.

Well, they have started to. For last few years as a number of international companies, commerce, startups have gained momentum in India, they are constantly on the outlook of Abel engineers, and Thapar Institute of Technology seems to be on their list. Some of the famous companies that visit the college as a part of campus placement are Whirlpool, Deloitte, Maruti Suzuki, Reliance and many other big shots.

You can seek admission through any mode on the basis of a single application form, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria. Mode 1 70% seats on the basis of JEE (Main)-2019/NEET-2019 rankings
Mode 2 30% seats on the basis of 10+2 PCM/PCB scores

Hi, Thapar University has excellent placements in all branches. As you ask specifically for EC/CS, the package is really good. On average a student gets around 5-6 lakh packages, highest is around 35 lakh. Both mass recruiters and product-based companies visit here.

No, you cannot take admission. The eligibility criteria of LLB are Graduation (Any stream) with 45% of aggregate marks (5% relaxation to reserved categories) or should be in final year of graduation. Hence, you have to first clear your supply.
