Hello Tada, It's really nice indeed to see your dreams of becoming an engineer. But there is still time for you. The course begins only after 12th. So please study hard in the next two years. Try to understand each and every topic. It will help you in cracking entrance exam after 12th.

You should go for DAIICT, GANDHINAGAR because the placement opportunities of this institute are excellent. According to last year's placement survey, 3 students got placed with the highest salary of 40 lakhs in AMAZON INDIA from this institute.

Hello Vaibhav,
Lateral entry is admission directly into 2nd year engineering or 3rd semester. How 4th semester? Normally all colleges allow this type of entry but it is controlled by the DTE of the concerned state.

Dear student,
Crack the university's entrance exam conducted in April.
Syllabus will be available on university website during the month of March.
You can even get admission at Khalsa College Amritsar (one of the leading institutes in this category). The college also conducts entrance exam in April. Form will be available online on WWW.kca.org

This is now a deemed university and is not to be confused with Punjab University. Being a deemed university, it has powers to decide it's own methods of admission. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.
