It is not possible for this rank. But, MBM is still no 1 regional college. Though it is lacking in number of professor students out there are hardworking and getting decent ranks in GATE IES and other prestigious exams. And please do check their placement stats, it is increasing since last couple of years.

There is no criteria that you have to be a resident of Rajasthan to get admission in MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur but there is a specific quota for resident of Rajasthan. Although the cut off for MBM through JEE Mains is quite high. A General category student must score above 140 in JEE Mains in order to be eligible for MBM college in his/her prefered branch. And if you don't have any specific branch preference then try score above 100 in JEE Mains, you will get some or the other branch. But 92 marks in JEE Mains is not enough for MBM Engineering College.

1. Mining is best branch in Mbm in terms of faculty and placement. It has 100% placement. But girls are not allowed in this branch.
2. Electrical : This is the second best dept of college. Classes are regularly held but yes placement is not that good. Students generally prepare for GATE.
3. Mechanical :This dept has the oldest and experienced faculty members who are willing to share their knowledge. They take classes regularly. Labs are held regularly.
4 Computer Science and IT : The department has some very good teachers and placement is also good.
