Depending on your branch, choose. And some private colleges as good placement as a compared to state govt colleges. You check the annual placement report both colleges.

From the previous year data, you can get the branches of B.Tech such as Biotechnology, Production, Chemical or Chemical (Plastic & Polymer) in the counseling rounds. You can take admission in the best branch possible for you now and then hope for an upgradation in the special round, but that is also not for sure, it totally depends on the seats available and your rank.

I thought that Muslims don't come under OBC. But 49 out of 360 is bit less and I feel you have less chance. However I am attaching a link that will predict college for you:

Each college has its own strengths.
It is totally upto you to choose between them.
The institute is rated amongst the top-25 B Schools in India by various surveys including the Business World, Business Standard, AIMA.

Hello Prakriti,
You have scored less than eligibility criterias for NITs, etc. in 12th. Hence, that option is ruled out. If your state is accepting JEE Mains score, then you have some chance of admission in Govt college.

You must pursue 12th from CBSE board if you can. Many entrance exams are based on the syllabus of CBSE. NIOS was devised normally for those who could not enter normal schooling.
