The institute conducts Pearl Academy Entrance Exam (PAF) for admission to its various courses. PAF Entrance Exam consists of General Proficiency Test (GPT) for UG. In this test, the students are evaluated based on their aptitude, career focus, ability to express themselves, potential as a team member, eligibility to pursue the program, and communication skills.

Candidates who meet the course-specific eligibility conditions can fill out the application form to apply. Further, the applicant shall appear for Pearl Academy Entrance Exam or submit secured scores. Shortlisted students are then called for the interview round. Based on a cumulative score in the entrance test and interviews, final selections are carried out.

NIMS University offers three-year BSc and BSc (Hons) courses. These courses are offered under 40 specialisations, such as Forensic Medicine, Anesthesia Technology, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Physics, Anthropology, Physical Education, Geography, Radiotheraphy, Cardiac Perfusion Technology, etc.
