The applicant should have passed Class 12 from a known board at least with an aggregate of 45% in the Science stream. The university offers specialised BSc programme in Nutrition and Dietetics. However, to apply for the BSc course, the students are required to meet the basic eligibility criteria prescribed by the university. The entire application procedure is online and through the university website, while admission into the BSc programme is based on merit.

Ragging in any form is a cognizable offence and is banned in COER University, Roorkee. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, among others.
Any one indulging in ragging is likely to be punished appropriately which may include expulsion from hostel, suspension from institution or classes for certain period of time, with holding scholarship or other benefit, debarring from participation in various events of co-curricular/extra-curricular and more.

The Quantum School of Media Studies and Design offers meritorious scholarships to its BA and other UG course students. Apart from the entrance cum scholarship exam, the college also offers the scholarship based on the candidates' Class 12 scores.
