RIT Roorkee is a private college. RIT Roorkee is accredited with A++ Grade by NAAC. The college has been awarded the Most Promising Institute in Research and Development (awarded by ArdorComm Media Group in association with the AICTE). Roorkee Institute of Technology has a CII Industry membership.

As per the latest information, in the 2023 India Today rankings, COER University was ranked #177 among the Engineering colleges in India. Earlier in 2022, the university was ranked #183 under the same category. Upon comparing both years data, it was observed that the university showed improvement in 2023 in terms of ranking.

Getting a MCA seat at COER University is fairly easy. To begin, students submit an application form for the course. Once the application portal is closed, the university begins with the selection process. The applicants are screened based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Those who are shortlisted and offered admissions are required to report to the allocated institute for verification of documents. After verification, students must pay the COER University MCA admission fee of INR 26,500 to confirm the admission.
