No, admission to VIT Group of Institutions strictly requires qualifying VITEEE exam. Hence, it is mandatory to appear for VIT BTech exam and qualify for it.

- It is given on the basis of the rank obtained by the student in VITEEE exam.
- It is awarded at the end of the first semester on continuation of study in VIT.
- IT is awarded for the rest of the three years based on the terms and conditions of VIT.

Candidates should check the information for Merit-cum-means scholarship:

Yes, candidates who belong to the SC/ST category are offered a relaxation in the MBA eligibility criteria during VIT Andhra Pradesh Amaravati admissions. For general category, candidates need to secure a minimum aggregate of 60% in the Class 12 board exams as well as having an UG level degree to qualify for MBA.
However, candidates from the SC/ST only need to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% to be eligible.
