Core/non CSE specialisations at Chennai, AP, Bhopal campuses are realistic: Mechanical, EEE, ECE (borderline), Civil, Chemical, Production, and CSE adjacent specialisations (Data Science/AI) may slip away in Cat 1 but can appear in higher categories. Vellore CSE is out. If fees matter, lock Category 1/2 in a solid non CSE branch, then aim for internal branch change (performance based) after the first year.

VIT Vellore has no cut off on entrance Exam in M.Sc. Biotechnology. Rather, you will be able to get admitted based only on your grades in your Bachelors degree. At least 60 percent of cumulative score in a field related to Biology science ( e.g Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology). The SC/ST, candidates belonging to the North-Eastern states, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh should be considered at 50% at relaxed eligibility. This merit is used to process such applications and shortlisted candidates are invited to be admitted. Remember to consult the official VIT Vellore site to obtain the latest and the most accurate admission guid

Yes, But you will not eligible for the reservation for home state students.Because the reservation is for the students who studied 11th and 12th in the state where the NIT is situated. The 50% seats are filled through home state quota. The remaining 50% is filled with the students from other states. You can get an admission if you had scored an eligible score in JEE.

With an 88.5 percentile in JEE, getting a B.Tech CSE seat at VIT Andhra Pradesh depends on the cutoffs, which mostly consider VITEEE or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET ranks. VIT-AP typically admits via VITEEE or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET; JEE percentile alone may not directly qualify you unless converted accordingly. Usually, VITEEE cutoff ranks for CSE range widely but expected category 1 closing ranks were around 20,000 to 45,000 in 2024. To confirm, you should check VITEEE or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET scores and admission criteria specifically.

If you mean TNAU affiliated colleges, UG application windows usually open May–June, right after TN +2/CUET announcements, with counselling in June–July. For PG/PhD, windows shift a bit later. Bookmark TNAU's official admissions page and enable notifications; dates move slightly each year. Prepare community/EWS certificates, transfer, conduct, migration, and nativity documents early; missing one paper is the #1 reason students lose their round.

Expect roughly one lakh to one lakh fifty thousand rupees per year (tuition) for B.Sc MLT, plus admission, exam, lab, hostel, and transport if opted. The total of a year bill commonly lands between three lakh fifty thousand to five lakh rupees, depending on scholarships and hostel choice. Sathyabama periodically revises fees, so download the latest fee circular/admission brochure. Evaluate hospital tie-ups, internship stipends, NABL-accredited lab exposure, and placement partners—they matter more than a few thousand rupees difference.

If you're OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer), make sure to select OBC-NCL in the IIT Madras application. If you accidentally picked just “OBC, ” contact them ASAP with your correct central certificate. No valid OBC-NCL doc? Your app could get bumped to General. That's risky if your rank isn't strong. Don't wait till it's too late — email them and get your docs sorted so you're not disqualified in the verification round.

So here's the tea — TNAU doesn't have a direct B.Sc. Biochem course. Instead, Biochem is sprinkled into other courses like Agri, Horti, Forestry, Food & Nutrition, etc. It's more like a supporting character than the main one. If you're dead-set on B.Sc. Biochemistry as your major, check out other colleges in Coimbatore — they got you.

For JoSAA counselling, the eligibility criterion for OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes - Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, specifically for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, is generally sixty-five percent in their 12th standard or being in the top twenty percentile of their respective qualifying examination board. The seventy-five percent criterion is typically for General and EWS category candidates, or for admission to IITs for all categories. So, for OBC-NCL, it is indeed the sixty-five percent mark, ensuring a slightly more accessible pathway into these institutions. Always double-check the latest JoSAA information brochure for any m
