The TNEA counseling is conducted by Anna University. It is conducted for all colleges in Tamil Nadu, not only for Loyola - ICAM College of Engineering and Technology. The result date for this is usually decided from the TNEA schedule released officially by the Tamil Nadu Government. Generally, results are announced 2-3 months after the process has started. For example, the process was started on 6th May 2024, and the results were announced on 13th August 2024. In 2025, the process was started on 7th May and the ranks were allotted on 27th June.

The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in the TNEA counseling for admission to BTech.
To apply for BTech, candidates are required to visit the official website of the body and fill out the application form along with all the required documents and fees.
