CSI Institute of Technology graduates are employed in different sectors such as engineering, design, and even technology. Daffini Manoja Balson, one of the alums who graduated in 2005 with a Computer Science and Engineering degree, served as a Project Manager for Navigation Guidance at ISRO during the Chandrayaan-3 mission and made great contributions to its success. The cut-off marks for Saranathan College of Engineering differ according to the branches and category, which normally depends on TNEA ranks for students who come under general quota. For computer Science and electronics streams in particular, their cut off scores are more as compared to less competitive ones. Besides the admission through the TNEA counseling process for merit-based admissions, Saranathan College of Engineering has a very limited option of direct admission through its management quota. Management seats are in turn merit-based, but students who are not likely to get seats through TNEA can get admitted through such an option. A specified percentage of seats for a college are reserved for direct admissions under the government and Anna University guidelines.
