Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, is quite elitist with its academic credentials, good placement records, and research interests. It stands as one of the top 10 engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu. Some of the top recruitment companies present on campus include TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, which offer average packages of INR 4-6 LPA. Not only that, but a high research output is also seen with ongoing projects funded by agencies like DRDO and ISRO are providing opportunities for hand-on experience to students. All these make GCT the first preference of engineering aspirants.
