Alagappa University allot seats on a merit-basis to the UG programme. It follows the reservation policy prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. There are 5% of seat reservation for the differently-abled students (Government Letter No.12599/K2/2017-1, dated 21.07.2017). No, VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) does not consider SRMJEE (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination) results for admission. VIT conducts its own entrance exam, known as VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination), for admission to its B.Tech programs. To secure a seat at VIT, you must appear for and qualify in VITEEE. Ensure you register for VITEEE and prepare according to its specific syllabus and pattern to be eligible for admission to VIT's engineering programs.
