To get admitted to the MCA programme at NIT Trichy, students must have a minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent as one of the disciplines. Students who have completed a BE/B Tech or similar degree from a qualified university may also apply for this course. Candidates from the SC/ST categories, on the other hand, are eligible for a 5% relaxation. These candidates must acquire a minimum of 55% or 6.0 CGPA in their respective graduations.
