Yes, you can get a seat at this university if you belong to the General AI category. This university had the last round cutoff ranging from 28 to 239138 for the BE CSE course. Hence, the General AI category can avail admission to the BE CSE course with a TNEA rank of 20000.

For the BE ECE course, the last round's the highest cutoff was 234786. Hence, the attained rank could grant admission to this course as well.

Note -  This is the cutoff for the General AI category and 2 courses, other courses and categories will have different cutoffs.

For Anna University admission to the BE courses via TNEA, a good rank would depend on the category. For the General AI, the cutoff ranged from 28 to 239138 for the BE CSE course. Hence, a rank below 239138 would be considered good enough for a seat in various affiliated colleges under this university for this course.

Note -  This is the cutoff for the General AI category; other categories, courses will have different cutoffs.

Yes, Anna University does accept the TNEA counselling results for admission to various BE course and its branches. The TNEA counselling process is based on the class 12th marks for admissions to Government and Government-aided engineering colleges.

Colleges affiliated with this university also accept the TNEA results. The counselling result is published in various rounds, in the form of opening and closing ranks for different All India categories, like General, OBC, SC, etc.

MIT School of Law admissions are majorly entrance-based. The college accepts students on an entrance basis for LLB, LLM, and BBA courses. For the PG Diploma programme, students get selected on a merit basis.

To get into Anna University for the MBA/PGDM course, students would need to appear in the accepted exam, like CAT, MAT, and TANCET.

  • Students who appear in the CAT or MAT exam would need to attain a valid percentile, and only then are they eligible for the next round of admission, which involves GD, PI, and WAT.
  • For the TANCET exam, valid ranks are needed, and then participants have to take part in the counselling process to get a seat.

All seats for the M.Arch - TIAKS course at MIT School of Architecture are allocated strictly based on merit. The university looks at your previous architecture degree marks and your interest in traditional knowledge. Since there are only 20 spots, the selection process is competitive to find the most dedicated students.
