The difference between ier-1 and ier-2 colleges are:
Tier -1 Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu are national colleges, competitive and difficult to get into admission. Top colleges are IIT Madras, NIT Trichy, VIT Vellore, Anna University, etc.
Tier-2 colleges are reputable engineering colleges, popular among state-rank students. Top colleges are SSN, PSG College of Technology, and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

The Sathyabama University BSc courses are three year courses which are offered on the UG level. However, one BSc course known as BSc in Nursing course has a duration of four years.
All BSc courses at Sathyabama University are offered in full-time mode only and cover six semesters, except the aforementioned BSc in Nursing course.

The Sathyabama University BSc deadline has not been revealed at this point. Generally, the BSc admission deadline at Sathyabama University is scheduled after the results of Class 12 board exams have been revealed.
Thus, candidates should check again for BSc deadline when the Class 12 board exam results are out.

Yes, all BSc courses at Sathyabama University require candidates to have cleared their Class 12 board exams in the Science stream. However, the actual mandatory subjects will be different based on the chosen BSc specialisation.
For example, BSc in Nursing requires candidates to have Biology as a mandatory subject. The BSc in Physics on the other hand does not require Biology.

No, there are no mandatory entrance exams for Sathyabama University BSc admissions. The selection of candidates for the BSc courses is done on merit-basis in the Class 12 board exams of a particular year.
However, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for their chosen BSc course to be considered for Sathyabama University admissions.

No, Sathyabama University does not offer part-time or executive MBA courses. Sathyabama University MBA courses are available in both offline and online teaching modes. However, both course modes are still offered only on full-time basis.
Candidates will need to look at other institutes if they wish to pursue a part-time MBA course.

Generally, the TANCET registrations are opened during the month of February each year. However, the current year TANCET registrations have been delayed for MBA admissions at Sathyabama University.

Sathyabama University MBA admissions have been opened for the academic year 2026 for both online and offline course modes. Currently, the institute is yet to reveal the deadline for the MBA admissions to either course mode.
Hence, candidates who have received their final exam scores should apply for MBA admissions at Sathyabama University as soon as possible.
