The eligibility criteria of M.Sc. Courses of Osmania University is given below. Eligibility criteria : A pass in the B.Sc. With not less 40%marks (pass percentage for SC &ST candidates) in the concerned Science subjects viz Physical Sciences & Mathematics for MPC group or Physical Sciences & Biological Sciences, for BZC group as the case may be. Admission mode : Through an Entrance Test CPGET conducted by the University as per the details given below and subject to all other rules, regulations and reservations prescribed therefor. So if you have done your B.Sc. from an UGC recognised Open University, then cab be eligible only.

Hello,
Yes, you have to prefer science over any other stream.
Also in science, you have to prefer mathematics over biology because the minimum eligibility of BTEC requires maths as a subject.
