Candidates are required to apply and take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) for admisison to PG Integrated, BVoc and BBA courses. After appearing for the same and qualifying the exam, candidates need to register for admission counselling on the university admission portal. A merit list will then be published to announce the names of all the selected students for admission.

To take admission in MBA course at Tripura University the candidate must be eligible for the test as required by Tripura University such as Xavier Aptitude Test, Common Management Admission Test, Common Admission Test, Management Admission Test, Central University Entrance Test  for post graduation. To apply for NIT Agartala BTech, you have to apply for JEE Main. The final selection is based on JoSAA counselling process. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of JEE Main results to manage the seat allotment process.

Yes, a final year students can also apply for MBA at NIT Agartala. A valid GMAT score will be applicable for foreign students only.

Students appearing at their final year graduation examination may also apply (with eligibility criteria up to last completed semester) Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally and candidates have to submit certificate of completion of the graduation degree. If they are not able to fulfil the eligibility criteria or unable to submit certificate of completion of the graduation degree, their admission will stand cancelled.
