Yes it is harder to get into University College London than King's College London. The acceptance rate of UCL is between 22-30%, where it is around 43% for Kings. There is a slight difference in the acceptance rates of both universities but the toughness increases even with few rate change. Both the university consider factors like qualification, work experience, English language requirements, and more.

International students can apply through UCAS or university portal. They should fulfill the basic qualification and submit all the documents. Students should follow the process:
• Start UG application through UCAS, and PG application through the portal
• Submit transcripts, LOR, reference, English language requirements, resume, and application fee.

The Uni of Glasgow offers a tuition fee discount of 20% to eligible self-funded alumni who wish to study PG Taught Master's or Research students for 2026/27. Indian students are also eligible for this discount. As such, no separate application is required for this alumni discount. It is applied at the time of registration.

The scholarship award value is GBP 12,500 (Around INR 15.15 lakh). To be eligible for this scholarship, students must show the academic excellence equivalent to a UK 1st Class Honors, around 85% and above. For this scholarship, students have to apply by accessing the scholarship portal.

The Uni of Glasgow LLM tuition fees is GBP 29,355 (Around INR 36 lakh) for international students. Also, international students have to pay a deposit of GBP 2,000 when the offer is made. For UG programs, students need one of these to get admitted to Glasgow University:
- ISC/CISCE
- Intermediae Cetificate
- Higher School Certificate
- Higher Secondary Certificate
- All India Senior School Certificate of CBSE
The minimum overall score for all of these is 75%. On the other hand, for PG programs students need UG degree with 55-63% (UK 2.1 Honours degree) or 55-58% (UK 2.2 Honours degree).
