International students can apply to the University of West London full-time courses in two ways: For Undergraduate programs

• Apply through UCAS Website and directly on the university website
• International applicants starting a course in September should apply in April to enable you to get a visa to study in the UK.
• Apply for a UK Student visa a maximum of three months before the course start date
• Pay a deposit first of £3,000 for your first year's fees

For Postgraduate programs

• Apply through the university website, find a course, and follow the steps to apply
• As a part of the application, students will need to provide academic transcripts (officially translated to English), a personal statement, two professional and/or academic references, a copy of their passport, and copies of any other supporting documents

The Minimum required percentage for admission to ARU can vary depending on the study level and courses.

1. For UG programs applicants must have completed the 12th exam. For students from HSC/Standard 12 from the West Bengal exam board the minimum overall average required is 50%.

2. If you have completed HSC/Standard 12 from CBSE Delhi, Mumbai, or Tamil Nadu, the minimum overall average required is 55%.

3. For students who have completed HSC/Standard from any other exam board, the minimum overall score required is 60%, with at least 40% in a minimum of 5 subjects.  

   Postgraduate Percentage Requirement

1. For Postgraduate programs, the minimum requirement is a grade of 2;1 or above. The specific Percentage equivalent can vary6 depending on the grading system used by the course the applicant chooses

Anglia Ruskin University offers the International Excellence Scholarship to eligible international students. To be considered, students must be enrolled in a three-year Bachelor's degree or a Postgraduate taught degree. Studying full-time unless exceptional circumstances exist. UG scholarship requirements : 

• An international student

• UG applicants must have achieved a score of ABB grades or above at A level (or equivalent). 

• The total value of scholarships is £4,000.

• Applicants must submit additional supporting documents, including evidence of their extracurricular activities.

Postgraduate Scholarships: 

• An international student

• Postgraduate students must hold a grade of 2: 1 or above ( or equivalent)

• Applicants applying for scholarships must study a three-year degree ot a postgraduate taught degree (This includes our PG Dip Legal practice course) 

• Must write a 500-word essay supporting a statement outlining why you're suitable for this scholarship

• Applicants must submit additional supporting documents, including evidence of their extracurricular activities. 

International Applicants must meet the below requirements. 

International requirements for Undergraduate students:

• GCE A levels from a recognised UK examination, Board

• An IB score of a minimum of 24 points

• Portfolios

• HSC/standard 12 with an overall average of 55% from the following exam boards: CBSE, Delhi, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu

• HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 60% with at least 40% in a minimum of 5 Subjects from any other exam Board.

• English language Requirments: The below English language skills tests are accepted by the  Anglia Ruskin University: 

1. TOEFL IBT with 80 overall and a minimum of 17 in reading and writing and listening, 18 in reading and 20 in speaking.

2. Pearson PTE with a 60 overall and a minimum of 59 in all components.

3. IELTS with an overall 6.0 and 5.5 in each band/ element. 

International requirments for Postgraduation

• 4 years Bachelor or 4 years Bachelor Engineering or Technology, minimum division 2 (50% - 59) in relevant subjects

• 4-year Bachelor of Law for entry to LLM 

• CV/resume 

• Work experience ( depends on the course )

• Portfolio 

English Requirements for Postgraduation

• ARU Entry criteria for Postgraduate taught and Postgraduate research courses is IELTS 6.5 with nothing below 5.5 in any of the four elements (i.e Listening, speaking, reading and writing)

The applications can be made through their official online portal. Check out the below process: 

 Step 1: Choose your interested course

 Step 2: Applicants must submit the application form. After finding your interested course, follow the ‘Apply Online Option.

 Step 3: Don’t forget you’ll need to support your application by providing copies of the following documents. Check out below for the required documents for your application.

•  Qualification Certificates and transcripts, including certified translations

• CV

• Resume

• If you changed your name, then proof of name change 

• Portfolio 

• Passport

• LOR ( Letter of Recommendation) 

Step 4: After you submit the application, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the university. This email will include your ARU student identification, which will be important for applicants to check your application status.

Step 5: Receive your decision on your application. The university tries to provide an initial response or decision to your application as soon as possible.

Step 6: Once you’re selected, the University will give their decision within 5 working days. This may take longer if an interview is required.
