The student reviews of Shoreline Community College is generally positive. At Shoreline Community College many students appreciate the helpful and understanding faculty. They find their professors to be good at their job.  Their academics are very good. There are beautiful campuses. However, some improvement reviews were such that there is main focus on the art courses and lesser on the engineering courses.

NCSU ranking in the QS World University rankings is #274 in 2024. According to Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2024, the university’s rank is #251-300. In both the rankings, the university’s ranking has improved as compared to the previous year’s ranking. This shows that in the national universities category ranking, the university's ranking has improved nationally. The parameters considered for ranking are outcomes, faculty resources, expert opinion, financial resources, etc.

NCSU is ranked among the nation’s best values for university by Princeton Review. It is the No. 1 best college for the money in North Carolina as per Money Magazine. It is also on CNBC Makes It’s List of Top 50 colleges that pay off the most. The median starting salaries for May 2022 MS in CS graduates averaged USD 129,000 for graduate students.  

According to the employment report of 2019, NCSU MBA graduates average accepted salary was USD 95,200. The top companies that hired MBA graduates were IBM, Bank of America, Lowe’s and NetApp, etc. The alumni work in these industries Consumer Products, Financial Services, Technology, Consulting, Energy, etc.

NCSU admission requirements for UG & PG courses are given below:

• UG: The applicants must have graduated from secondary school
• PG: Students thinking to take admission to NC State's PG courses should have an Undergraduate degree

Also, apart from the course-specific requirements, international students planning to apply to NC State should fulfill the English language proficiency. This means submitting the IELTS / TOEFL / PTE scores. 

NCSU graduate do not require the GRE or GMAT scores for official admission to the university. But, there are some graduate programs of the university that ask for GRE scores. To know more about this, it is advised to check with the programme requirements. Other courses may require other standardized test scores such as MAT.

International applicants should apply to NCSU by the application deadline. The admission decisions for UG international applicants are released on a rolling basis once their application is complete. After this, students are required to confirm their enrollment by the specified deadline.
