If you're applying as a first-year student for the Fall Semester, the deadline is May 15, 2024. But if you're interested in an online degree, you have until August 20, 2024, to apply. International applicants aiming for the Summer intake need to submit their applications by March 17, 2024.

No, if you're applying for graduate programs at New York University Tandon School of Engineering, a TOEFL score of 85 is not enough. The school has a criteria for a minimum TOEFL score of 90 for the internet-based test for graduate applicants. So, a score of 85 wouldn't meet the necessary English language proficiency requirement for admission to the graduate programs at Tandon School of Engineering. 

Yet other English proficiency test score requirements for graduate applicants include:

As per online sources, NYU Tandon School of Engineering accepts about 35% of international students, and they need to have a GPA of 3.0. The graduate programs at the school are competitive, with only around 44% of applicants getting admitted.
