First of all, complete and submit the application form attached with all the necessary documents required for admission and then pay the application fee. International students are required to satisfy some admission requirements such as SAT, ACT, GRE, or GMAT. All international students whose fist language is not English are required to demonstrate their proficiency in the English language.

The applicants have to submit SAT or ACT scores. Applicants with a recalculated high school GPA of 3.4 or higher are not required to submit the test scores. All those applicants with a 3.4 or less must provide the test scores. Read: Georgia State University Admissions

According to U.S. News & World Report, half of the applicants admitted to GSU have an SAT score between 975-1220 or an ACT score between 19-27.

Times Higher Education ranked the university #501 in 2025 and #401 in 2024. US News has ranked Georgia State University #588. ARWU has ranked the university #601

Apart from this, QS World University Rankings ranked Georgia State University #781 in 2026, whereas it was ranked #851 in 2025 and #801 in 2024. This indicates a decline in trend when compared with previous year rankings.
