Yes, Florida State University require IELTS. Along with the GPA, ACT/SAT score, international students whose native language is not English required to submit official English Language Proficiency test score. The following are the minimum score required for admission to the university:

  • Internet based TOEFL (IBTOEFL): 80
  • Paper based TOEFL (TOEFL): 550
  • International English Language Testing System (Academic IELTS): 6.5
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE): 55
  • Duolingo: 120 (Summer 2022 and Forward)

As part of the graduate application process, NAU requires candidates to submit GRE score for admission. For master-level courses, NAU offers three degrees - Master of Science in Informatics (MSINF), The Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS), and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE). Admission to graduate programs is competitive, and no exam scores or grades guarantee admission. Apart from the GRE exam, international applicants need to submit the required IELTS or TOEFL scores for getting into NAU's graduate program.

As per the Florida Board of Governors, international students who wish to study at Florida State University need at least one set of SAT and/or ACT scores. FAU, along with 11 other universities in Florida are subject to Florida Board of Governors require first-year students to submit their required score. Students can check below the dates for submitting their scores:

  • Early action - November SAT (If scores are provided before December 1, 2023)
  • Regular decision - December ACT and SAT (If scores are provided before January 1, 2024)
  • Rolling decision - February ACT (If scores are provided by March 1, 2024)
