Yes, while studying at Stanford University, international students can work part-time. To be eligible for on-campus employment, students must be enrolled full-time. They can only work up to 20 hours or fewer per week when the school is in session. But, during the holidays and vacations, students can work more than 20 hours per week. A few of the Part-time jobs in USA for Indian students are Tour Guide, Campus Tech Support, Teaching Assistant, Barista, Academic Department Assistant, University Book Store Assistant, etc.

U of Houston was founded in 1927 and its primary focus was training future teachers. At the time of establishment, this university was Houston Junior College and the classes were held on the Jacinto High School campus. It became the University of Houston in 1934 and later joined the University of Houston system in 1977. Most of the individual colleges at this university have their own traditions ranging from Frontier Fiesta, Cougar Red Friday, Cougar Sign, and Blessings of the Rings, etc.
