International students enrolled for F1 or J1 status at UNC Charlotte are allowed to work part-time, but with a few restrictions. This includes working up to 20 hours per week, on campus during the academic year. They can work full-time, 40 hours per week, during the summer vacation when not enrolled in summer classes.
