Kishwaukee College has mixed reviews. Students like the small class size so that the instructor can pay attention and help and connect with everybody. Students find the college campus welcoming. Many reviews appreciate the cost effectiveness of the college. A few negative reviews mention that the college does not have on-campus housing, which can be challenging, and the food quality at the cafe is not that good.

Since Kishwaukee institution is a community institution, there isn't any on-campus accommodation available to students. The majority of overseas students reside in residences near the Northern Illinois University campus in DeKalb. The DeKalb neighborhood has a wide range of dining options, cultural events, and more. Some students choose to live at home or in apartments with friends. The estimated living and transportation expense are around $11,743 and $2,392 respectively.
