For private universities, students have a view that they are just making a hole in the parent's pockets but this is not the case for Shiv Nadar University. According to the Shiksha verified review," Shiv Nadar Noida has received 4.3 rating in Value for Money which is a decent rating. With a good studying environment, outstation students generally don't feel homesick. The food, the infrastructure, and other facilities are provided considering the preferences of students.

RR Group of Institutions and Goel Group of Institutions both offers B.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering. RR Group of Institutions has better placement as compared to Goel Group of Institutions. Placement rating of RR Group of Institutions is 4.3 whereas Goel Group of Institutions has only 3.5 rating by Shiksha.com.
RR Group of Institutions in 2024 reported a good MBA placement record, with salary peaking at Rs. 2 LPA. The average salary was Rs 8 LPA.

IIT Kanpur accepts GATE scores for admission to the M.Tech course. As per the GATE COAP round 1 cutoff, the most competitive course was Microelectronics and VLSI with a closing rank of 935 for the General AII India category students. So, to secure a seat in IIT Kanpur, candidates must secure more than 900 for General AI category.

IIMT Greater Noida BSc include multiple components like tuition fee, hostel fees, mess charges stationary charges and others. At the time of admission college charges 50% of total fee from students.

Admission to BSc (CS) at IIMT Greater Noida is completely based on merit, for admission candidates must have passed Class 12 with Science stream including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Commerce with Mathematics. The latest cutoff information for BSc is not released yet. However, for applying in this course the minimum eligibility criteria is aggregate of 45% in Class 12, and the cutoff might vary according to the year, batch and seats availability.

Based on the reviews provided, the placement scenario at IIMT Greater Noida for BSc in Computer Science seems to be mixed. (The reviews that are mentioned below are from alumni and students currently studying in BSc at IIMT Greater Noida)
Review 1 (batch of 2025): Students of BSc, good and very good percentage are placed from our course. the highest package is INR 15 LPA, the lowest is INR 5 LPA and average is INR 8 LPA. Internship are above 80%. Well settled discipline is there in BSc (CS) course.

IIMT Greater Noida is affiliated with CCSU (Chaudhary Charan Singh University) and AKTU (Abdul Kalam Technical University), these both universities supports Central and State scholarships for various UG & PG courses. IIMT follows rules and regulation of its affiliated universities. However, provision of Central and State scholarship is not explicitly mentioned on college’s official website.

There are different criteria of giving scholarship for different courses of IIMT Greater Noida. For BSc course the criteria is, student must be a branch topper and their attendance shall not be less than 75% and the strength of branch shall not be less than 40. No scholarship shall be awarded in case caught in any acts of indiscipline.
