SKUAST-K, the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Kashmir, has been ranked 5th among agricultural universities in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2023, with a cumulative score of 59.50. On the other hand, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is ranked 787th in the world by the Best Global Universities ranking. Additionally, AMU is ranked 601 in the World University Rankings by Times Higher Education. Therefore, based on the available rankings, SKUAST-K is ranked higher than AMU in the specific field of agricultural sciences. The Institute of Hotel Management, Shimla offers a total number of 50 seats for the UG Diploma in Food and Beverage Services course.Therefore, 50 students can do UG Diploma in this Institute. The students must have completed their schooling and National Institute Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) JEE Exam inorder to be eligible for the course. Since the admissions are based on the seat availability, the students must secure the maximum marks and rank in the NCHMCT JEE Examination. 

Another Diploma course in Food Production is offered by the institute, but there is no information about the seat availability for this particular course. Therefore, we are taking only the food and Beverage Services course into account for the number of students who can do the UG Diploma at the Institute of Hotel Management, shimla.

The average salary package offered to the students of BSc, MSc, and UG Diploma courses was 15 thousand to 20 thousand per month. The highest package offered 35,000 and the lowest package offered is 8,000 to 9,000. In the year 2023 placements, there was 100% placement. A total of 77 recruiters participated in the placement drive where interviews are held. A total number of 181 students appeared for the interview and all 181 students, that is everyone got placed. The top recruiters of this Institute are Domino's, McDonald's, LeMeridian, The Oberoi. The placement rate has increased more than the previous years. Students from this Institute get placed in top reputed Hotels and food companies.  

In Jaypee Business School students get admission in Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the field of Management. Jaypee Business School course admission is based on merit in CAT entrance exam. The flagship course of JBS is MBA. Jaypee Business School MBA fee ranges from INR 4 Lacs to INR 9 Lacs and 80% of students were placed in the MBA course.  The highest package was INR 10 Lpa, the lowest was INR 3.5 lac and the average package was INR 4.5 lpa.  Top roles offered in JBS are HR, Marketing and Finance.

Other side National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kolkata do not have a management course so overall MBA at JBA is better.

The Institute of Hotel Management, shimla does not offer scholarships of its own. The students can avail scholarships offered by the government of India. The students of this college are advised to visit the National Scholarships Portal. The portal guides and provides information on the various scholarships that the government of India provides. The students can check all the scholarships programs that they are eligible for. The National Scholarships Portal guides the students right from applying for the scholarship, sanctioning it, and to the disbursal of the amount that is given after the approval of the candidate for the scholarships. This Portal is a one stop for all information regarding the government scholarships. Each of the scholarships have different eligibility criteria and the students must be eligible to avail the scholarships provided by the Government of India. 

 National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kolkata offers Under Graduation programmed and certifications in IT domain on other side Jaypee Business schools offers management  programmed in Under Graduation and Post Graduation, in general mangement colleges has better packages. Placements are good in this institutes there no doubt about it, many top and good names like Wipro, TCS are top recruiters in both institute but roles and packages are different. NIELIT has average packages around 3.5 LPA at small developer role and highest package is 9 LPA on other hand average package in Jaypee is 5 LPA and highest is 10 LPA. So overall in my opinion Jaypee Business School has better placement opportunities.
