If a student fails an internal exam, it may affect their overall grade in the course. However, the weightage of internal exams varies across courses and colleges, so the impact on the final grade may differ accordingly.
The student may be allowed to write a makeup exam or may be given an alternative assessment to compensate for the missed exam. However, this decision is based on the circumstances surrounding the missed exam and the policy of the college.
