We must pass the UPSEE administered by the AKTU in order to enroll in this college, and we receive admission to the B.Tech programme at the Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology through the online counseling process. We must go to the AKTU website and apply online to take the admission exam. The counseling process will be used to narrow down the pool of applicants. Candidates may apply for PG admission at Kamala Nehru College if they completed their undergraduate degree in the pertinent stream with 65% marks.

It's an old government college, running since 1986. Students say it's got good programs in engineering, both for undergrads and postgrads. The campus is huge, about 220 acres, with decent facilities. Many students like the teachers, saying they know their stuff. The college has connections with companies, so job placements are pretty good. It's recognised by AICTE and linked to a big technical university. Plus, being government-funded means the fees aren't too high. Overall, students feel it's a solid choice for engineering in the region.

Radha Govind Group of Institutions has a placement cell that tries to help students get jobs. They organize campus drives and bring in companies like TCS and HCL. The cell offers some training, like mock interviews. About 80-90% of students get placed, with average salaries of 3-6 LPA. But it's not perfect. IT students do better than others, like civil engineering. Some students say it's great, others say they had to find jobs on their own. So the cell works, but how well depends on your course and luck.

The placements and salary packages at Radha Govind Group of Institutions seem okay, but not amazing. They say about 90% of students get placed, which sounds good. Salaries range from 3-6 Lacs per year on average, with the highest around 3-4 Lacs and the lowest about 1.5-2 lakhs. Big companies like TCS and HCL come to hire, mostly for IT jobs. But some students, especially in civil engineering, aren't too happy with their options. It's a mixed bag - some get decent jobs, others struggle a bit.
