AMU has a pre-defined set of eligiblity criteria for admission to the various BSc specialisations that it provides. The eligibility crietra vary across the specialisations. In general, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant Science subjects to be eligible for BSc admission at AMU. The relevant subjects may vary depending upon the choice of specialisation. Further, candidates must not be more than 24 years old as of July 01 in the year of admission.

In order to be eligible, students must have passed Class 12 and must have studied through Urdu medium or Urdu as a subject/language at Class 10 level or above or an equivalent Madrasa course approved by MANUU with Urdu as the medium of instruction.
